“Linda Bellos was outstanding. Unbelievably knowledgeable and inspiring and charismatic speaker.”

Equalities and Diversity Information Coordinator, University of Portsmouth.

Our face-to-face training service is led by Linda Bellos OBE, acknowledged as one of the leading motivational speakers in our field.

Teaching people how to understand and apply equality law is one of Linda’s passions. Long before the Equality Act 2010 set them out, her work encompassed all diversity groups and people with every protected characteristic. She says, “I use humour and a fund of stories that inspire learners to apply common sense to achieving fair outcomes, just as they use it in other areas of their professional work. I make learning come alive by using real examples that reflect their own workplace situations, challenges and problems.”

Linda’s authoritative and practical approach motivates learners to improve their ways of working. Her approach stops people from being confused and daunted by equality law. Instead, she teaches them to be confident about tackling challenging situations, improving performance and delivering equality outcomes. From the positive feedback we get from clients and learners, we know that she inspires managers and staff to improve how they work.

Linda enjoys teaching people at every level, from senior executives to frontline teams. She works across the full range of teaching settings: masterclass, briefing session, conference or full-day training event, leadership development, action learning, mentoring and coaching.

Her courses include:

  • - Understanding and applying the Equality Act 2010
  • - Public sector procurement and equality law
  • - Doing effective equality impact assessments
  • - Managing a diverse workforce
  • - Dealing with harassment and bullying
  • - Managing discrimination and harassment cases
